Meet Melanie Hashagen

Melanie Hashagen is a board certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. She see patients of all ages. She has her Master's Degree in Forensics and Post Master's as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, graduating with the honor of Magna Cum Laude.She approaches medicine like forensics, putting the pieces of the puzzle together to get to the source of the problem.She loves photography and traveling.She has been to all 50 states, and 5/7 of the continents.She has a passion for the Olympics.She swam for United States Swimming and has volunteered for the Atlantaand Paris Olympics.She has assisted on the Medical team for the Olympics in Paris.

Melanie is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and International Association of Forensic Nursing.She is a strong advocate for her patients and is happy to join the team at Medical Arts Associates.

Melanie has also been a part of the Olympic Medical team, helping our athletes maintain peak health during the games across multiple

Olympic games and just came back from Paris after this most recent Olympics.
